Yarshenko & Heidinger are a team of three lawyers who strive to zealously represent all their clients regardless of the nature of the criminal charge.

The lawyers of Yarshenko & Heidinger have a very broad range of experience and continuously work to be apprised of any new developments in criminal defense.  Counsel meet on a weekly basis to review new case law and the impact any such jurisprudence may have on matters the firm has before the courts.  The members of the firm attend criminal law conferences, complete on-line seminars/courses and consult with experts (i.e. Pathologists, DNA) to remain at the forefront of any developments that may have implications on the successful defense of a client.

Yarshenko & Heidinger takes pride in being a client’s advocate, legal expert and first, and only, line of defense when they are facing the massive resources of the state.  We are genuinely interested in our client’s well-being and often forge professional relationships over the course of a matter that remain after a matter has come to conclusion.

Clinton Yarshenko

Clinton Yarshenko, founding member of the firm, was born and raised in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan.  He attended University in Saskatoon, enrolling in the College of Law, and receiving an LL.B.

He has practiced in Medicine Hat, Alberta, since his graduation, and has specialized in criminal defense work for many years.  This practice has frequently taken him to British Columbia and Saskatchewan, as well as throughout Alberta.

Having worked at many jobs to put himself through school, Mr. Yarshenko maintains an appreciation for the pressures and stresses working men and women face in Canada.  This insight is beneficial in his communication with clients, and he subscribes to the belief that legal counsel must never lose sight of his client's needs.

Lyndon Heidinger

Lyndon Heidinger was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta.  He initially attended the University of Lethbridge to obtain his B.Sc. with distinction. He went on to enroll in the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta. Upon graduating with his LL.B., he articled and became an associate at a prominent national law firm in Calgary, Alberta.  Soon thereafter he returned to Medicine Hat to continue the practice of law.

Mr. Heidinger practices exclusively criminal defense.  His busy practice has consistently taken him throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan and increasingly into British Columbia.

Being raised by a father in the trades and a homemaker, Mr. Heidinger was taught early the value of hard work and the appreciation of a dollar earned, thus leading him into various jobs throughout his high school and university years.  Mr. Heidinger is appreciative of the potential financial burden and stress that being charged with a criminal offence can bring to an individual and/or family.

Mr. Heidinger proudly takes on the role of your zealous advocate regardless of the nature of criminal charge that you are facing and will tirelessly work to defend you and advance your cause.  Mr. Heidinger was the only criminal defense lawyer named in the inaugural Top 40 under 40 for Southeastern Alberta magazine which encompassed all professional and business minded individuals.
